Automations Expert
Role Overview:
As an Automations Specialist, you'll be instrumental in transforming business processes through intelligent, efficient automation solutions. This includes leveraging AI tools where appropriate to further streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and unlock deeper process intelligence. You'll design and implement sophisticated workflow automation strategies that streamline operations, reduce manual work, and unlock productivity across different business systems and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse existing business processes to identify automation and AI integration opportunities.
Design and develop end-to-end automation workflows using tools like Relay.app, Zapier, Make (Integromat), and native integrations, and explore the use of AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, or GPT-based assistants for decision-making and content generation.
Create custom automation scripts and low-code/no-code solutions.
Integrate diverse business tools and platforms seamlessly.
Develop robust, scalable automation architectures that can adapt to changing business needs.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for implemented automation systems.
Optimise existing workflows for maximum efficiency and minimal friction.
Skills Required:
Advanced proficiency in workflow automation platforms (Relay.app, Zapier, Make, n8n).
Familiarity with AI platforms and models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, ChatGPT) and how they can enhance automation flows.
Experience with API integrations and web services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to map complex business processes.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript).
Understanding of system architecture and data flow.
Excellent communication skills for translating technical solutions to business stakeholders.
